We focus on the wrong things, thinking that happiness and fulfillment is something that we can find outside of ourselves, so we try to look for it in other people. We so desperately try to get other people's approval that we lose ourselves in the process. We waste our time thinking about the past that we can't change, or we worry too much about things that shouldn't matter.
