When you identify with what you think your life is, settling on shifting sands, you become prey to your emotions, and, yes, you remain in a state of negativity; you do not just live stuck in that state emotionally but you somatize in your physical body. Your life will spin like a vicious circle. After living on this wheel, constantly revolving through the difficulties in my life, I could not be more aware of this state of mind.

Michelle “Shelley” Farley was homeless on the streets of San Francisco for a decade before finally getting help to get off the streets. With no family and no place to go, she learned how to fend for herself and make a life out of navigating the rough San Francisco streets among her fellow homeless. Now, she must navigate trying to live life as a sheltered citizen of society, but after being on the streets for so long, can she learn how to live a normal life, or will she be pulled back in to the life she had before?
