このコンテンツについて

New York Times best-seller. Over five million copies sold

For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events, inspiring Outside magazine to name him the Fittest (Real) Man in America.

In Can't Hurt Me, he shares his astonishing life story and reveals that most of us tap into only 40 percent of our capabilities. Goggins calls this The 40% Rule, and his story illuminates a path that anyone can follow to push past pain, demolish fear, and reach their full potential.

An annotated edition of Can't Hurt Me, offering over two hours of bonus content featuring deeper insights and never-before-told stories shared by David. Not available in other formats.

Freaking amazing

This is a life changing story. This book have an immense value and my only regret is not having it when I was in my 20's. I wish I can meet the author to thank him for the gift of his story and way of thinking.

Had heard some podcasts - really lived up to the expectation

Great format with the reading and interview.
Inspirational, makes me really understand the power of the mind, and how much far I can go if I push harder.

Telling the truth, reexamines the meaning of existence, and provides powerful inspiration and courage

"I purchased my first audiobook, and it was a fantastic decision. Even at ten times the price, it's worth it. As a Japanese speaker of imperfect English, I may not have grasped every detail, but I understood the essence of what he was saying. This is something universal.

The supplementary conversations between the author and the narrator between chapters were insightful. Towards the end, he discussed concepts of God and the perspective on life and death. I felt hope in understanding that he arrived at these thoughts through real-world challenges and suffering. It's realistic, not a fanciful story created by someone, nor a shallow platitude.

While I don't adhere to any specific religion, I believe in the significance of the great universe based on the teachings of certain philosophers. Whether we call it God or not doesn't matter. Life, i.e., human existence, contributes to the evolution and improvement of the universe's rules. When our role is complete, the body fades away, and the soul returns to the universe. The author found this in reality and is now teaching me. Essentially, he strongly emphasizes self-improvement, utilizing our potential to the fullest, and facing death. He reminds us not to forget that growth exists within suffering.

No one has conveyed this to me so directly before. Thank you. Gratitude from the far east.
