I finally decided to reach out and ask for help, and I am grateful I did. FHE Health and The Shatterproof Program saved my life. If you are struggling, you don’t have to stay there. We can and will help you. Reach out today at 303.960.9819.

Some people like being alone and they are much happier. On the other end, many people think a relationship will fix all of their problems and it rarely does. If anything, it can often bring more problems. If you are single or just out of a relationship why not take some time and work on yourself?

When you find solace and strength in being alone, and you start loving yourself again, you will be a much better place to be in a relationship again.

Go out and conquer your day and week.

Make a habit of checking in with yourself. Here are some tips on how to do it:

Be Honest with yourself about your feelings. You might be able to BS others, but you can't BS yourself.

Check in with your support system. Don't wait for them to call you. You can reach out. If they care about you they will take the time.

Create time for reflection. Dig deep and find out who you are and what your purpose and why are.

Start Journaling. There is something powerful about the written word - Your written words!

Practice Mindfulness. This helps tremendously. You can meditate, practice breathing techniques. We have so many options available to us today. It might be difficult at first but you will get better.

Go out and conquer your day - Until next time.

Endings can be painful. I have been through my share as I am sure you all have. But endings can be the start of something beautiful if you are open to it. Endings are a part of life. We are born and someday we will die (Hopefully a long time from now), but it's an ending. And when something ends, something begins.

Keep your mind and heart open and realize that something need to end in your life for beautiful things, and people, to enter into it.

Go out and conquer you day and week.

We are all busy. You. Me. And everyone else in the world. But, you have 60 SECONDS in your day to make a difference for yourself and someone else.

What can you do in 60 Seconds? More than you realize:

    Give yourself a high five

    Repost something uplifting

    Take 10 deep breaths

    Support a friend

    Pay yourself a compliment

    Mediate

Read a page of a book

The list goes on, but most people think that 60 seconds in nothing. I need hours and days, months or years to make positive steps forward.

Not the case. Start with 60 Seconds and build from there. MAKE THE TIME.

Go out and conquer your day.

  • Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast: Conrad Weaver - PTSD911 Documentary
    2024/08/07

Hello everyone and welcome back to the Top Ranked Criminal Justice Evolution Podcast. Top ranked because of YOU, the listener and supporter. I am blessed and grateful to have all YOU AMAZING listeners and supporters and I thank you again. Please take a moment and give us that 5-Star Rating and Review on Apple Podcasts.

If you are a new listener, welcome. We know you will love the show. If you are a long-time listener, welcome back.

A big thank you to ALL the brave men and women in the Criminal Justice Field. Remember you ALL are honored, cherished and LOVED.

My next guest is Conrad Weaver. He is an Award-winning producer and President and owner of Conjostudios, LLC, a video production company based in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Conrad received a Mid-America Regional EMMY® Award for his 2014 documentary feature, the Great American Wheat Harvest (2014). His second feature length documentary film, Thirsty Land (2016) was completed in early 2016 and is currently available on Amazon Prime. The award-winning documentary, Heroin’s Grip (2018) is Conrad’s third feature length documentary, and he is the executive producer and writer on a feature narrative film called Scars of an Orphan.

Emergency first responders are suffering from post-traumatic stress in record numbers, but they are often afraid of losing their job if they ask for help; this must change.

Conrad created the award winning documentary PTSD911. PTSD911 is a film about real people: normal, average human beings who have chosen to work in professions that require above average heroism, fortitude, and resolve. These men and women have jobs that require a willingness to face things that most of us can’t even imagine yet maintain a high level of dignity and professionalism. First responders repeatedly see and experience things that most of us will never see, causing compound issues related to post-traumatic stress injuries and disorders.

A great show with a great guest.

This Monday, I want you to stop doing this if you are: STOP CHASING PEOPLE.

If people care about you they will want to spend time with you.

Learn to be happy and content with yourself first. This starts with knowing what you want out of life. Your happiness will not come from someone else. It has to be internal first.

Learn to say NO to people.

People who you never hear from seem to appear out of nowhere when they want something from you. Get rid of these people. They are using you.

Chasing after people implies that you value their presence more than your own self-worth.

Go out and conquer you day and please be safe.

A great guest in coming on this week.
