    Take a deep dive into the October 7th massacre, Israel's worst emergency.

    In this mini-series of eight podcast episodes, co-hosts Dovie Maisel and Elad Bachar will take you minute by minute through that harrowing day, showcasing United Hatzalah's response from the first responders in the field to the commanders at headquarters.

    In this fourth episode, they are joined by volunteer EMT Chezi Rosenbaum, who was in the thick of the "Valley of Death" (Psalms 23) after finding dozens of casualties at Rt. 232 and Rt. 34 to treating and transporting patients all over the affected areas in the Gaza Periphery, from Kfar Aza to Sderot to Netivot.

    In this third episode, they are joined by Communications Director Linor Attias, who discussed where the day found her, arriving at headquarters where she assisted with the unfolding chaos and eventually heading down south, where she oversaw the establishment of United Hatzalah's field triage center and staging area at Heletz Junction. She describes why the location of the site played into the decision as to why it was chosen as well as how many lives were saved due to the incredible work of the doctors, paramedics, and EMTs that were stationed there, as well as those who went into the fire zones and extracted victims and brought them to Heletz.

    In this second episode, they are joined by Chief Paramedic Liad Ohana, who discussed waking up to gunshots in his hometown, setting up multiple triage centers, treating dozens of seriously wounded patients, and making the difficult decision in collaboration with the Ministry of Health to allow seriously wounded patients to be transported to the hospital in private civilian vehicles.
