    This is a guided visualization exercise that includes conscious breathing and body awareness. It is important to be in a safe, quiet and distraction free environment when doing this exercise. It should not be attempted while driving, operating equipment, or in a location where you attention is divided. This is a great exercise to do in combination with 4-Fold Breathing, the Body Scan and other exercises in this series.

    In this episode I talk about my personal experience with persistent chronic illness and pain. The challenges and frustrations of playing a never ending game of whack-a-mole with my health and feeling like I was on a merry-go-round of symptom, diagnosis, medication, repeat.

    This is my origin story of how I was living in denial of my stress and how it ultimately broke down my health to the point where I had to take drastic action and change my life.

    After I changed course, I was able to eliminate all prescription and over the counter medications within 6 months and have been medication free for nearly 2 decades.
