    It’s bad enough to be afraid of getting breast cancer. But if you are diagnosed, what they don’t tell you is the number one side effect is the fear of recurrence. You are always going to be looking behind your shoulder to see if it’s following you. It’s the monster under the bed that no one wants to talk about.

    In honor of breast cancer awareness month, I have a special treat for you today on the show. The other week, I spoke to a group of survivors about the fear of recurrence and the 5 steps they can take to not just empower themselves so they don’t live in fear, but to actually minimize the risk.
