  • Ep 148: The Generational Ripple Effect: How One Mom's Healing Changed Three Generations
    2025/05/23

    Send us a text

In this powerful interview, Ines shares how she transformed from a constantly triggered, yelling mom to creating a peaceful home in just four months.

As a working mom managing solo parenting during the week, Ines found herself screaming at her six-year-old son, her partner, and even colleagues at work. Despite trying mental load coaching, parenting books, and even inner child workbooks, nothing seemed to create lasting change.

The breakthrough? Discovering that her uncontrollable reactions weren't about her son's behavior at all, but about wounds from her own childhood - where she was the "responsible" middle child, never allowed to play, and never told she was loved unconditionally.

In this raw, honest conversation, Ines reveals:

    • The specific situations that used to trigger her worst mommy tantrums
    • How she went from dreading bedtime to creating a peaceful routine
    • The shocking moment her own mother said "I love you too" for the first time
    • How healing her triggers saved her relationship with her partner

If you've tried everything to stop yelling at your kids but nothing has worked, this episode reveals why - and shows how healing your own childhood wounds can transform not just your parenting, but every relationship in your life.

The ripple effect of this healing extends to three generations - proving it's never too late to break generational patterns.

  • Ep 147: Healing at the Roots: Why I Shaved My Head for 3 Years (And Why I'm Growing It Back)
    2025/05/16

    Send us a text

In this deeply personal episode, I share the real story behind my 3-year shaved head journey – and why I'm now letting my hair grow again.
    This isn't a beauty update. It's a healing revelation.

For generations, women in my family measured their worth through appearance and achievement. Always proving. Never enough. I inherited this painful pattern, relying on my looks and intelligence to feel worthy of love and belonging.
When I finally began healing this generational wound, my razor became an unexpected ally. By shaving my head, I wasn't rejecting beauty – I was rejecting the need for external validation.

    In this episode, I reveal:
    - How my shaved head became physical proof I no longer needed others' approval
    - The unexpected freedom I found in letting go of my "pretty girl" identity
    - Why growing my hair now isn't a step backward, but a sign of deeper healing
    - How our appearance choices often reflect our internal healing journey

Whether you've struggled with beauty standards or fought to break free from generational patterns, this episode invites you to look beyond the surface and recognize how our external choices can reflect our internal healing.
Your appearance journey might look different from mine – but the path toward feeling whole, worthy, and free always begins within.

Here's my video of my hair story: Why I shaved my head - aka how much do you really care about what others think of you?

  • Ep 146: You Have No 'Dark Side': How Your 'Worst' Parenting Moments Are Generational Healing Trying to Happen
    2025/05/09

    Send us a text

Ever feel like you have a "dark side" that comes out when you yell at your kids?
I used to think my mommy tantrums were proof I was broken. That if people saw this side of me, they'd run away. I'd end up alone.
And I realized I felt that way even before I became a mom. Always hiding or changing who I was, to make people like me.
But guess what? There is no dark side.
In this episode, I share the truth that changed everything for me:

What if those mommy tantrums and your strong emotions in general aren't evidence of your failure, but signals from unhealed parts of yourself desperate to be integrated?

    In this episode, I reveal:

Why your "worst" parenting moments are actually generational healing trying to happen
How to recognize when your inner child—not your adult self—is reacting to your kids (or adults)
The liberating truth that transforms shame into healing opportunity
What becomes possible when you integrate these wounded parts instead of hiding them

If you've ever looked at yourself after yelling at your kids and thought, "Who is this monster?", this episode will change how you see yourself forever.

This isn't just about becoming a calmer parent. It's about becoming whole by reclaiming the parts of yourself you've been taught to reject.

  • Ep 145: Boundaries with Adult Bullies/Strangers (Personal Story)
    2025/05/02

    Send us a text

My personal story about setting boundaries with adult bullies or strangers is in the context of racism. But I use it as an example to unpack the general principles that are applicable in any situation where you feel verbally/emotionally attacked by another adult.

I share it also as a big-picture inspiration. Because you are not here just to be a mom.
You are and deserve to be so much more than that.
And so often it seems impossible to even imagine that you could ever feel good enough, not needing anyone's approval or validation...

So, wouldn't it be fun if...?
Wouldn't it be fun if you did not get triggered by other people's judgment or criticism?
Wouldn't it be fun if you could set healthy boundaries without shrinking or overreacting aggressively?
Wouldn't it be fun if you started liking who you are? :)

  • Ep 144: Raging about dog and her ex... how did she became a Zen Supermom regardless?
    2025/04/11

    Send us a text

Her ex-husband asked for 50-50 custody of their toddler son.
And out of the desperation, afraid of staying all alone and abandoned, she bought a puppy for Christmas... Which turned out to be as much work as if she got a second child. While now she had to function as a single parent.

That was Barbara's recipe for uncontrollable "rage blowouts", as she called them.

So how did she turn it around in just 3 months?
Because even CBT for burnout did not really help before. Neither did the parenting books...

Listen to her story and see what becomes possible once you grab your problems by the roots.
